Since Emery took over you can see such a massive difference we are organised we have a way of playing that the players are comfortable with and that the team are playing for one another and are working as hard without the ball as they are with it.
At the moment though, I am not sure Moreno is any better than Digne he looks fine on the ball and going forward but looks suspect when defending and certainly today wasn't close enough to his man on too many occasions. Most of Chelsea's threats came down the right side particularly in the second half.

Lotm, pretty much how i saw it, we rode our luck and fully deserved to. We have been attacked constantly down the left, Targett was poor, Digne a slight improvement and Moreno ok with reservations, we could and probably should have paid the price for the room Chelsea had on the left. Great result plenty of positives, just imagine what Emery can achieve with four or five quality signings.

I understand what your saying guys but I’m going to wait till next season to judge him, I find him very comfortable with the system and confident with the ball at his feet, who can we get that’s better who’s not already playing European football, I remember his baptism of fire coming on for digne against Leeds and my heart was in overdrive with him but he’s improved a lot since then and he provides a threat going forward, I’m actually pretty pleased with LB position I think we are well stocked and I hope we can keep them both, RB is a different ball game, young is not bad cash is not bad but like ourselves young is getting on and when he gets a knock it takes more of a toll on him, still he has being a great asset to us, he uses every bit of his experience and always knows what’s needed when we are under the cosh. I’d like another RB to challenge Cash and keep young aswel for he can play numerous positions he’s great cover if we do get Europe. thought Chambers done ok today I was a bit nervous to see him coming on. Martinez class today apart from 1 dodgey pass to kamara ??

Moreno will be one of the best left backs in the league next season IMO, he's adapting to the physicality of the league but I thought he was exceptional today - Offensively he is very strong and has been very good defensively over the past games, we've conceded 1 goal (a penalty) in that period, you don't do that in this division if you have a weak link. I think the issues we have on the left defensively come from Ramsey switching off occasionally but that will improve over the coming months, he's been brilliant recently and will continue to improve the more be is deployed in Emery's system. Being honest I don't think we can really poke too many holes in this Villa side, we've a genuine chance of Europe now, a world class manager and, in all likelihood, a very busy summer coming up! Times are good at Villa Park let's enjoy it!

Whack, I think in terms of judging Moreno you are right we need to give the guy time to adjust and so as you say the proper time to judge him is not now, but at best Moreno and Digne are much of a muchness, and we need an upgrade in my opinion. Defensively the left side has been an issue since we got back into the premiership. In terms of who is available that is better, for me I would try to bring in Kieran Tierney his stats are good both offensively and defensively, he is apparently unhappy at Arsenal and is versatile and can play as one of a three as well as at left back. Whilst ideally he would want to be playing European football none of the big clubs your City’s, Utd’s, Chelsea, Liverpool, have a gap at left back and I can’t see him going to Spurs either, that leaves Newcastle and i think we have at least a fighting chance competing with them for the player.

KT is a good option, I think he will be somewhat happier next year if he has a premium league medal and champions league football to play, zinchenko can’t play every game
