Well I suppose nothing shocks you in football Nathan Jones sacked after just 3 months in charge. The board will have been responsible for giving him the job but aren't held in any way accountable for what's gone on and they just sack him. Southampton were a poor side before he took over, as a club they made a decision to invest in youth reduce reliance on established pros like Vestergaard and that has come back to bite them in the ass big style. I am not saying Nathan Jones was necessarily the right man for the job but having hired him surely you have to give him some time to turn things around and that isn't 3 months. If not for any other reason I hope Southampton go down and the fans vent there spleen on the real villains of the piece the board.
