I remember Purslow saying the days of loans to put other clubs players in the shop window were over for Villa. Yet on here people desperately clinging to last minute loan deals. When was the last one that worked out well for Villa? Name one.
I applaud the club for not panic buying but I’m not convinced with Lange as a chief scout. He’s been at the club a while and the only significant purchase, although he was a free, is Kamara.
