Hopefully it sends out the message that we're attracting top young talent and VP is a good place to be in the long term if Archer can prove himself.

SV, many have said Archer is still young and his time will come, he is 22 next Birthday, which is not particularly young. I hope he makes the grade, unfortunately its not looking promising for him.

There's room for more than one striker lads, if Archer is as good as we all hope (still to be decided IMO) then Emery will play him. Ings will find another club in the summer leaving us with Watkins, Duran and Archer as our only srikers. He'll play if he's good enough, if he's not he'll be sold.

Archer had to go out on loan.
Hes played 91mins of football since June last year, plus had surgery.
Duran 130mins since MLS season finished in October.
I don't know how he will do considering he hasn't played competitively since 15 Dec, but then has Watkins;)
Archer is a package, strength/speed and Skill just like Duran.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see Duran shipped out on loan or in U21s until match fit.
There must be other signings particularly a striker coming in
