i can't beleive on here people overeacting,yes we lost,we should be beating a l2 side but unai needed to use squad,personally he should i'd played a mix of youth and squad players,1 thing unai would of learnt,is that he can only trust martinez,mings,carlos when fit bouba,luis,ramsey,squad needs a massive rebuild players need moving on,i hope we bring in 3or 4 players this window because its needed i still think we will finish in top 10 ten,yesterdays result will be the kick up the bckside that the players needed because that wasnt acceptable

Jonny i agree with some of what you say, i take issue with a couple of things, i don't think any comments made on yesterday's performance was an over reaction in any way. Most were a justified reaction to a performance against a team in league 2. I also think Emery should get the same kick up the arse as the players, he has gone on record saying how important a cup run was to him, well i'm sorry but his statement doesn't hold water.

its not managers fault players were complacent scotty,players should of treated it like a league game mate,we all know emery is a class manager,he needs time to get all the players he wants and to shift out all the players that are not good enough which is a lot in my opinion

Jonny i'm with you, we will only see Emerys Tactical experience when the lots of players you refer to are moved on and i strongly believe it is a lot mate.

This match came at the perfect time, it was a match that doesn't impact our league performance but gives a view of how fringe/starting 11 play alongside each other and also gives redemption chances to ones whom have played terrible the games prior.
As it was really a no risk game, I think he has a clear idea as to what he needs and what needs to be done this transfer window and next.
Hopefully he will do something and not bring in injury prone Deulofeu like the press are stating.
