T.O.V I don’t think danks was ever going to be in the frame, maybe if we go to Newcastle and thrash them at the weekend he can have a complaint but as it stands he would of being a huge risk, I hope he stays with us and learns everything he can from Emery and he could be 1 for us in the future.

Danks wasn't even after it as far as I'm aware. His statements really suggested that he's happy being a coach as part of the project.
Maybe if he'd had another couple of games he'd have got a bit of a taste for it but after Gerrard the club were never going to take that level of gamble again.
Let's hope Emery sees their value and wants to keep hold of them. He also needs to sack off the youth managers Gerrard wanted and bring back Delaney.
