Sensible comment Raj, I think we will buy especially after reading an article written by an american sports medical expert on this type of injury. It reports that the older the player the longer the recovery takes. The same article provides a worrying outcome, 30% sport stars never fully recover and those that do the average time based on historical data is in the range of 200 to 320 days. So based on this Villa are back to square one, so of course they will replace Carlos. It is so so sad for the player and club, he was looking so calm and composed.I hope for his sake he has a full and successful recovery and i'm sure every villa fan will wish him the same.

Agree Daz, part of our defensive problem last year was our midfield giving it away in silly areas. We could've had Van Dijk and Dias as our cbs and still got done. Think Chambers should be in for Palace. We should work with what we've got and hopefully they'll improve with clear instructions and understanding.
